![]() ![]() Although some parts of the demo had to be recreated from scratch, most of it is true to the source material, thanks to the " gigaleak" and some of the 1997 Spaceworld demo being found on a dev cartridge of F-Zero X. The beta of this recreation, released last Sunday, offers three "tour" modes that show off specific aspects of the game (locations in Hyrule, battles against enemies and bosses, and dungeon exploration) and a debug mode that lets players visit maps in various states of development. One group among this wave included some fans looking to recreate the game's 1997 Spaceworld demo. Fans of these two anniversaries have celebrated by dropping a beta demo for a project that seeks to recreate the 1997 Spaceworld demo for Link's first 3D adventure.Īs we said back when we discovered this project in July, a new wave of interest in Ocarina of Time was sparked by Forest of Illusion discovering some beta assets. Transferring to higher gens will not be implemented as that is a function that PKHeX can do very well.Last Sunday, November 21st, marked two major anniversaries for Nintendo: the 23rd anniversary of the release of Ocarina of Time and the beginning of the 1997 show of Nintendo Spaceworld. Shiny Pokémon, with the 1/8192 rarity from G/S. Lots of Spaceworld graphics: Pokémon, trainers, tilesets, NPCs, SGB borders, trainer card, Pokédex, etc. ![]() Now its been renamed and has a lot more content. ![]() ![]() So for the time being the application will remain as tool to correct the dump files from the game. A month ago I made a simple Red/Blue hack that just replaced the Pokémon sprites with the Spaceworld ones. You're right shininess probably won't stay, as the games calculate them differently.Īlso, gen 2 can't legitimately transfer to gen 3, So that isn't a solution to your shiny problem.Īs of the moment there will not be any sussport for save states as I do not know the offset of where the Pokémon are. As with the final games, the demo used the Japanese Pokmon Blue as its basis for development. It may or may not work, depending on it's filesize. During the two years after it was first shown at Nintendo Space World '97 until its final release in November 21, 1999, the game changed extensively from this early demo. It builds the following ROMs: Golddebug.sgb sha1: b1d7539a87dea81b2cff6146afaad64470d08d84 Golddebug. The problem really comes in with Spaceworld and the final Gen 2 games.īTW the particular ROM I use on my phone is this one: mod edit: link removed, as it links to a video that links to roms. Pokmon Gold and Silver: Space World 1997 Demo This is a work-in-progress disassembly of the Pokmon Gold and Pokmon Silver prototypes demoed at Space World 1997. Maybe Spaceworld to Gen 3 and above could keep shininess since Gen 3 and above don't rely on IVs for shininess. Also, regarding Leafeon, why don't you support Gen 4 and above and have two options for transfer algorithms? What I mean is, you can either pick the algorithm Poke Transporter and PKHeX uses for transferring to Gen 7, which keeps the Pokemon's stats legal but drastically changes them, or you can pick the alogorithm Metropolis' PKX Delta uses, which keeps the stats extremely close to what they were originally but because of that, results in illegal stats. Is there anyway this could work with a My Oldboy saved state? And I assume Pokemon won't keep their shininess because different IVs determine it, right? Because I have a Shiny Skarmory and Meowth on my phone and I would love if there could somehow be a way to import them to Crystal. ![]()
